Acceptable use policy

Purpose
This page states what is allowed and what is forbidden on kimaime.com. It applies to everyone who uses the site.
The dating service is not open yet: today the site offers an information page and a pre-registration form only. These rules apply to pre-registration from now on, and will apply in full as soon as the service opens.
We publish them before opening rather than after, so that nobody discovers the rules on the day they are used against them.
Who may use KIMaime
The service is for adults only, aged 18 or over.
An account belongs to one person, who signs up for themselves. You may not create an account in someone else's name, even with their agreement.
Photos must be recent photos of you, and your description must describe who you really are.
What is forbidden
The following behaviour is not accepted on KIMaime:
- impersonating another person, using someone else's photos, or inventing an identity;
- stating a false age, or signing up a person under eighteen;
- asking another member for money, a gift, a prepaid card code or a transfer, on any pretext whatsoever;
- offering another member an investment, a cryptocurrency, a loan or a business deal;
- posting or sending sexual content: nudity, sexual acts, offers of paid encounters or sexual services;
- harassing, insulting or threatening anyone, or persisting with someone who does not answer;
- racist, antisemitic, sexist or homophobic remarks, or anything calling for hatred or violence;
- sharing another person's private information — photo, address, telephone number, messages received — without their agreement;
- advertising, soliciting, recruiting, or promoting another site or service;
- posting illegal content, in particular any content involving a minor, the glorification of terrorism, or the sale of prohibited goods;
- using a bot or an automated account, or extracting profiles from the site in bulk.
What we review before publication
Every photo and every profile text is read by a person on our team before other members can see it. Nothing is published automatically.
An optional video check is also offered: the person says aloud a code drawn at random, someone on our team compares the video with the profile photos, and the video is then deleted. We use no facial recognition software.
Reporting behaviour
Any member can report another member from within the site, with no justification required.
From outside the site, write to contact@kimaime.com. Describe what you saw and, if you can, when: that lets us find the exchange.
Every report is examined by a person, never by a machine alone.
What happens when these rules are broken
Depending on the seriousness, we may refuse to publish a photo or a text, remove it, suspend an account, or close it permanently.
A suspended person can no longer write to anyone. Conversations already started remain readable by the other person, so that whoever reported does not lose their own messages.
Serious matters, in particular anything involving a minor or a threat to a person, are reported to the competent authorities.
If a paid subscription is running when an account is closed, the consequences will be set out in the terms of sale, published before the paid service opens.
